Biography - George Mackie, L.Ac
Originally from Kansas City, I now practice acupuncture and Zero Balancing in Boise, ID.
I am a graduate of the Worsely Institute of Classical Acupuncture (1995), as well as a graduate of the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington, England (1995). In 2001, I received a Masters in Acupuncture from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, in Florida.
I am certified in the body-mind modality of Zero Balancing, which I have been studying since 1993. By working with bone-held energy, Zero Balancing brings clearer, stronger fields through the body, which fosters relaxation, stress reduction and a sense of being connected both within ourselves and to the world around us. I continue to study with Dr. Fritz Smith, the originator of ZB, and in 2004 became a ZB faculty member. I now teach Zero Balancing I and II and several of the advanced classes.
I have an on-going tai chi and qigong practice, which continue to inform my practice of acupuncture and ZB.
