Jean returns to Boise after serving as Military and Family Life Consultant @ McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas Once again, my service as a Military and Familiy Life Consultant (MFLC) is a rewarding experience.  It is an honor to get to know and work iwth Service Members and their families.  At McConnell Air Force Base, Service Members are deploying on a regular basis and engaging in several four to six month deployments.  This places a tremendous strain on families and relationships.  As a MFLC, I  provide counseling and psycho-education to help ease the stress and transitions that Service Members and their families experience.   I also have the opportunity to experience and live in different parts of the country. Wichita, Kansas has a diverse cultural population. This is reflected in the dining and cultural events offered in the area. I have learned about spring storm systems that bring snow, howling consistent wind, and clear sunny days all in the same weekend. I feel lucky not to have experienced a tornado since I was near "tornado alley".  I am happy to be coming home and I look forward to seeing you all soon!   --  Jean Kuty, LAc, LPC
